SYNOPSIS

password [username] newpassword

DESCRIPTION

This command is used by a user to change his password. The command is the new password. A user must be connected (user command) before he can change his password with this command.

A user can change the password of another user if he has the `manage' privilege for `user' commands family. The administrator has this privilege. The parameters are the name of the user whose password must be changed. The second parameter is the new password.

ACCESS CONTROL

This function requires the `consult' privilege for the `generic' command family.
